Sims 4 VS Paralives

Watch out EA Games! There's a new sheriff in town. They go by the name of Paralives Studio and their main goal is to create the next BEST simulation game.

Since early 2000 Sims has been the number one simulation game to hit the market. The game was published and distributed by the American companies Maxis and Electronic Arts. They sold over 6 million copies when they released Sims and rarely had they been worried about competition sweeping their way.

That is until now.

Paralives started their journey in 2019 by an independent indie game developer, Alex Massé. She started her career working on projects such as PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator and a few other demos. The project started as something solo and eventually turned into a group project of up to ten people. This team has worked hard to create a simulation game that simmers (Sim players) have been begging EA Games to have. A tool that allows easy and precise customization when you're building your Sim and home. If you want to have a large window in your home, you just click the window and drag to pick desired size. The same goes for character customization.

Paralives also allows you to create highlights and ombre hairstyles with a huge color palette to choose from. Visually, the graphics are stunning with the art team working hard on the aesthetics. Sim players have been wanting EA Games to desperately upgrade their graphics since it reminded them of early Sim games. It's gotten to a point where Simmers are creating their own mods to give the game an upgrade.

Paralives offers a Life is Strange feel when you are playing the game. Visually appealing that's not too cartoonish or realistic. It gives a perfect balance. Paralives team wanted to have a distinct style with both their environment and characters.

Paralives doesn't have a release date yet but the creators have been working hard with sharing videos of their progress, talking to the community, and causing quite a shift in the Sim community.

I, for one, am excited to see what Paralives has to offer. I've been playing Sims since the dawn of time. It never really had a competitor. I'm hoping that with this new game it will encourage EA Games to work on listening to their community, fix bugs, and release packs that are necessary but don't feel like a cash grab *cough* Star Wars *cough*.
