Forget every rumor you've heard about gaming. People will tell you gaming can influence you negatively in the real world. They say violent video games can cause aggression or gaming, in general, can cause depression. Gaming is a great form of therapy and can help relieve anxiety, depression, ADHD, and/or PTSD.
Here are some resources you can use to play video games if you're looking for a cozy gaming experience.
Hero Journey Club
You'll come together once a week to play a game and work through mental health challenges together, facilitated by a Master’s level or Doctorate-level Journey Guide who is trained in evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
