Sims 4: Featured Mod
I recently started attending rehearsals because I am in a production for Road Dahl's Matilda. I've been spending a lot of time playing Sims as I wait in the dressing room before I perform on stage. During my time I have played around with a few mods. I thought it would be great to talk about mods weekly to discuss some of my favorites and some that I can pass on.
Sims is an overall great game with tons of nostalgia if you've played the original versions. As time progresses you realize that Sims just isn't what it used to be. Burglar's are no longer causing anxiety as they try to enter your home, you can't take a car anywhere, and editing worlds is harder. You can't place new lots or decorate your world. It's frustrating but Sims 4 still gets the job done. It's a great way to waste some time.
As I was searching for mods to use for my realistic game play I found a total game changer for teens and children.
Ladies & gentleman I would like to introduce to you Education Overhaul & Zerbu's Go To School Mod!
Education Overhaul is a mod created by adeepindigo that allows your Sim to have a career as an educator. You can also allow your Sim to sign up for preschool! This is exciting to me because I am tired of taking care of my toddler. When they're enrolled in preschool they can leave the house for seven hours!
Another perk is the ability enroll to prep school or alternative school. School options require you to complete an application, attend a tour of the school, and write a personal statement. I chose to put my teens in boarding school.
Zerbu's Go To School Mod is excellent if you really want to create memories with teens and children. This mod allows your Sim to attend school and show up to classes. Of course you need to download a school to place on the lot but once you have that set up your school life can begin. The pack follows your Sim to school where they can attend lectures, speak to a counselor about life goals, and complete goals to boost their grades.
This mod will also allow your children to figure out what they love to do. You can declare which subjects are your favorite, unlock new aspirations, and mess around with the janitor.
Mods are extra layers of gameplay that you NEED in order to have a fun Sim experience. That's why I wanted to write weekly on some of my favorite mods and why you should add them to your gameplay.
