Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Pokemon Impressions
I am screaming you guys. Pokemon finally released a trailer and gave us a sneak peek at what's to come for the latest Pokemon Scarlet & Violet game. Not only were we introduced to two new legendary Pokemon, but we also, got to see a few new Pokemon to add. These little guys roam around the new region, and although cute, can be dangerous if you were to approach them. Here are the Pokemon impressions for the new trailer.
Legendary Pokemon
For every Pokemon title there is at least two legendary Pokemon that you will get to battle as the game progresses. This usually is towards the end, and sometimes, it's the post missions after the ending. The new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet showcased two dinosaur/dragon looking Pokemon that both look fearsome and unique. The reddish Pokemon definitely looks like he'd cause some damage to unsuspecting folks. These version-specific legendaries are Koraiden & Miraidon and if you take a close look at Koraiden...are those wheels on his chest? Tendrils as handlebars?
I don't know. Maybe they weren't going for a motorcycle look and it just was an accident. You be the judge.
Other than the design we don't have any information on their stats or what type of Pokemon they are.
Normal Pokemon
It's time to check out some of the cute creatures you can run into when playing the game! One of them is even designed to look like an olive. An actual olive. Try not to eat it! I think my favorite would be the pig design since I am a sucker for pigs.
The three Pokemon that will be in the region are: Lechonk, Smoliv, & Pawmi.
Lechonk: The cutest looking pig with a dark palette. Lechonk is a normal type Pokemon who spends his time eating grass and smelling for herbs. He has a big appetite, and although he's quite chonky, I bet his evolution stage will be pretty strong. If you want to know more about him here are some stats:
Hog Pokemon
Normal Type
Ability: Aroma Veil / Gluttony
Smoliv: The olive Pokemon! An actual olive! Don't believe me? Perhaps the dripping olive oil from his head will help confirm. If you do see him running around he will try to shoot you with this oil. This grass/normal type Pokemon enjoys dry and sunny climates, ignoring eating, and prefers to not get caught by trainers.
Olive Pokemon
Grass/Normal Type
Ability: Early Bird
Pawmi: Pikachu, be careful, looks like you have some competition here. This mouse Pokemon is an electric type that stores electricity in his cute little cheeks. He looks nothing like Pikachu and has his own appeal. When he's feeling disturbed or uneasy he will rub his cheeks, which should alert you, to stay clear away from him or else you'll get shocked.
Mouse Pokemon
Electric Type
Ability: Static / Natural Cure
